Re “Basketball Town a long shot,” Oct. 3: This is a compelling example of how big an impact one lawsuit can have in our community. A popular community facility is forced to close because of one dissatisfied customer. This story is why the Americans With Disabilities Act needs reform. In a just legal system, violators would be given time to comply before a suit could be filed. How many more businesses must close and children impacted before we take action?
